Anna Ingels is an interdisciplinary artist based in Fresno, CA. Her work explores the contradictions of living in a body: the push and pull of feeling alienated from and tethered to the physical self. Using yarn, found objects, digital illusions, and projections, she creates sculptures and installations that examine how bodies are perceived, distorted, and fractured by societal expectations, personal disconnection, and technology.

Anna is currently getting her MFA at the University of Nevada, Reno.
